WHERE DO I GET A CLAIM NUMBER?

Claim numbers are issued by your insurance company at the time you report your accident. Just jot it down and bring it in with you when you come in to begin the repair process, we will do the rest.



WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?
We are open from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Monday-Friday.


WILL THE PARTS BE ORDERED BEFORE I DROP OFF MY VEHICLE FOR REPAIR?
We can pre-order parts for you. This can greatly effect turnaround time and will help us get your vehicle back to you faster. All that is required is a deposit equaling half the total price of the parts we are pre-ordering.



IF MY VEHICLE'S FRAME IS DAMAGED IS IT A TOTAL LOSS?
A car is a total loss only when the price of repairs exceeds the insurance company's determined value of your vehicle. Nowadays, most cars are built using unibody (frame and body as one) construction. Our highly skilled technicians, with the aid of our state-of the-art computer measuring system, can return your vehicle to its original factory specifications. If it is determined that the frame section is bent beyond repair, that section can simply be replaced.



CAN YOU MATCH THE PAINT COLOR?

Today's modern factory finishes incorporate multiple layers of highly specialized paints. We have  made a major investment in the finest paint system available and constantly upgrades its technology and equipment to ensure that each vehicle's paint matches. We take special pride in our ability to match factory finishes as the final step in the restoration process.


CAN I GET OTHER SERVICE WORK DONE ON MY VEHICLE WHILE IT IS IN THE BODY SHOP?
Yes. Just let your adviser know what other work you would like done so that he or she can make the necessary arrangements.  



HOW LONG WILL THE REPAIRS TO MY VEHICLE TAKE?
Your adviser can give you an estimate of the time it will take to complete the repairs to your vehicle.  Be sure to check with your advisor for the specifics on your vehicle.



CAN I GET A RIDE HOME WHEN I DROP OFF MY CAR?
We can provide a ride for you to anywhere in the Metairie/Kenner area. We ask that you give us advance notice so that we can arrange a ride for you.



HOW CAN I GET A RENTAL CAR?
If you need a rental car, we can help you make the necessary arrangements. Insurance companies will only pay for a rental car if you have that option on your policy or if you are the claimant.  Check your policy and/or call your insurance company to find out if you have rental coverage and what your specific limitations are.



HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN MY CAR IS DONE?
You will be notified when your car is done. If you have any questions regarding your car, or its status, feel free to call or e-mail your claims adjuster.



IS THERE A WARRANTY ON THE REPAIRS TO MY VEHICLE?
Yes. We guarantee all repairs with a Limited Lifetime Warranty which may be backed by manufacturers and/or suppliers.



DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEDUCTIBLE?
The amount of deductible that you will be responsible for is determined by your insurance policy. If you aren't sure about your deductible, you can call your insurance agent.



WHO DO I PAY MY DEDUCTIBLE TO?
It will be your responsibility to pay us when you pick up your vehicle. If you aren't sure about your deductible, you can call your insurance agent.



WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

The easiest and most convenient way to pay for your portion of the repairs to your vehicle is with a major credit card. We accept Visa and MasterCard.  Of course, cash and checks are always welcome.


WHAT ARE BETTERMENT CHARGES?
Parts that wear out and need replacement with time and use (i.e., tires, batteries, and suspension parts) are commonly subject to betterment charges when they are replaced during the repair process. These betterment charges are determined by your insurance company and are pro-rated based on actual miles on your vehicle.



CAN I WASH MY CAR?
RECOMMENDATIONS AND PRECAUTIONS IN THE FIRST 30 DAYS

DO · Wash the vehicle by hand with cool water and a very mild car wash solution using a soft cloth or sponge. · Always use clean fresh water. · Wash your vehicle in the shade
DON'T · Do not use a commercial car wash. Stiff brushes or sponges could mar the finish and damage the surface. · Do not "dry wipe" your vehicle. Dry wiping can scratch the finish. · Do not drive on gravel roads. Chipping the finish is easily done in the first 30 days. · Avoid parking under trees and utility lines which are likely to attract birds. Bird droppings have a high acid content and will damage a freshly painted surface. Also, tree sap can mar or spot a freshly painted surface. · Do not spill gasoline, oil, antifreeze, transmission fluid, or windshield solvent on the new finish. · Do not scrape ice or snow from the newly painted surface. 

RECOMMENDATIONS AND PRECAUTIONS IN THE FIRST 90 DAYS

DON'T · Do not wax or polish the vehicle. This will allow the finish to dry and harden completely.



CAN I GET AN ESTIMATE OVER THE PHONE?
Unfortunately, without being able to see the car, we can not give an accurate estimate. However, give us a call. We will be happy to schedule an appointment.



DO YOU WORK WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY?
We work with ALL insurance companies.



WHY ARE YOU NOT ON MY INSURANCE COMPANY LIST?
We may work WITH all insurance companies, but we work FOR you. We may not be on your insurance companies "list", but that does not mean you can't have us repair your vehicle. It's your car. it's your choice. Why not take it to the best in the business. You'll be 100% satisfied, we GUARANTEE it.



DO I NEED TO MAKE A CLAIM TO FIX MY CAR?
You do not have to make a claim. If you would like to pay out-of-pocket, you have that right.



CAN I BUY MY OWN PARTS?
We have relationships with many dealers and distributors. We will work with you on where you would like to get parts from, but they have to be ordered and purchased through us for the repair.

CAN I DROP MY CAR OFF AFTER HOURS?
YES, for your convenience, we have a drop box located to the right of our overhang awning. Know that the parking lot is always well lit and video recording devices are always on.



HOW MUCH WILL IT COST TO PAINT MY CAR?

You need to bring your vehicle to us so that we can evaluate the current condition of the paint and determine the actual cost to paint it. It varies greatly.


CAN YOU TELL ME HOW MUCH TO REPLACE/REPAIR MY BUMPER?
It can be anywhere from $600 to $1200 to repair or replace a bumper cover. Bringing your vehicle in is the best way to get a good estimate.


WHEN I BRING MY CAR IN, HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET THE ESTIMATE DONE?
That depends on the severity of the accident. Sometimes all damage can not be seen. We recommend dropping your car off with the best and let us handle the rest. If you are unable to leave your vehicle, it may take 10 to 20 minutes with appointment. Drive Ins are welcome!!


WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE AN ESTIMATE ALREADY?

Bring it in with you. This will be our starting point. Even if the insurance company misses a few things, we will assist you with the claim from there and make sure we get everything we need to get your car back to factory specifications.
